Clayton is a native of Smithfield, North Carolina, he was educated and graduated from the Johnston County Public School System.
Clayton gave his life to Lord at the young tender age of seven. God began to groom him at seven years old as a Minister of Music at Burning Bush Holiness Tabernacle under the leadership of the late Dr. Overa Stevens. His desire wasto play the organ under the anointing of God and as he yielded himself for God’s service. God placed
an anointing on him that destroys yokes and lifts heavy burdens.
Clayton continued to be mentored by the late Elder Leon Bonner, the National Music Director for the Tabernacle Of Prayer For AllPeople Fellowship, in Jamaica Queens, NY, under the leadership of late Apostle Johnnie Washington. While having continued mentorship, at age Twenty, Clayton became the National Youth Music
Director for the Tabernacle of Prayer for All People Fellowship.
While serving, he also had the privilege of playing for some of the world’s renowned recording artist
such as: The late Elder Timothy Wright, the late Elder Vernon Chapel, Minister Joe Pace of the
Colorado Mass Choir, Minister Ruby Terry, Dorothy Norwood and K&K Mime.
Clayton has served in ministry in many capacities. He served under the leadership of Apostle Larnell
and Pastor VaJuana Phillips at Shiloh Temple Cathedral of Deliverance for six years as Assistant
Pastor, Minister of Music and Chief Adjutant.
After ministering in music for more than Thirty-Six years and humbling himself, Clayton released his
first independent CD project “I LOVE HYMN” (2017). A project of only Hymns that was laid on his
heart to keep the hymns in the mind of the Saints.
Clayton is the Founder of God’s Harvest Church and Kingdom and Righteousness Assemblies
Headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is married to Miya Lee, Pastor of God’s Harvest
Church. They have 4 children, 4 grandchildren, a host of Spiritual/Foster children and grandchildren.
Clayton’s lifelong goal is to win souls for the Kingdom of God and please God in all that he accomplishes.
